An experienced and SAQCC-registered Fire Detection Technician is required to join a busy fire protection team based in Amanzimtoti, KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of fire detection, sprinkler and related fire protection systems across customer sites.

This role requires a hands-on technician who is technically strong, customer-focused, able to work independently, and confident in ensuring that all work is completed in line with SAQCC requirements, applicable SANS codes, health and safety standards and service quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, service, maintain and repair fire detection, sprinkler and related fire protection systems.
• Program, configure and troubleshoot fire detection control panels.
• Diagnose system faults and carry out repairs to ensure minimal downtime and reliable system performance.
