SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager, acts as a point of contact and responds to calls for assistance for all levels of security and potential emergency needs by District employees, students, and the public on Thompson School District property. Conduct comprehensive proactive and responsive patrols of District campuses and other property to ensure safety and security of students, staff, and visitors; and to help ensure the security of buildings and property.
Provides back-up to the District Dispatch Center; responds to emergencies and takes necessary steps to address all emergencies; at times will be required to respond to matters pertaining to vandalism, theft, arson, personnel problems, etc.; works with appropriate emergency response agencies when necessary.
