SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden
The Role:
SEN Learning Mentor, can consists of improving the academic standard of students they are selected working with. Within the following three major curriculum subjects such as English Literature or Mathematics or within Biology, Physics & Chemistry (KS3-4).
The Ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with additional needs that may be Social Emotion Mental Health needs.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Developing and implementing strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviour.
- Supporting students in their academic, social, and personal development.
- Helping students get ready to take up and coming exams
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitoring and assessing students' progress and adjusting support plans as needed.
