Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide back office support for a large asset manager, including budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, cost accounting, general journal preparation and general ledger maintenance, internal controls & compliance support, and support for external audit requests as they arise.
- Plan, prepare, and execute financial statements (quarterly and annually) for management review and queries as applicable.
- Work closely with clients to deliver exceptional client service.
- Provide solutions to clients on current business and financial issues.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
Qualifications
- University Degree or Diploma with a concentration in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of public company experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
