We currently have a full time position available for a Senior Actuarial Analyst in our Actuarial Solutions Department. Reporting to the Actuarial Director, this is a hybrid position based in one of our Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver offices, with fully remote work considered for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform actuarial analysis of insurance rates, rating procedures and rating plans for personal and commercial business lines (property, auto, and casualty)
• Develop effective rating systems
• Provide actuarial support for required rate filings
• Liaise with the Information Technology department on development and maintenance of our underwriting system as it relates to pricing and reinsurance
• Prepare insurance forecasting models
• Drive the compilation and analysis of data required for our reinsurance program
