RVA is seeking a Senior Engineer for our Water team in a full‑time permanent position.

Duties

Provide project engineering and technical expertise, review hydraulic calculations, analysis, and design services for various water/wastewater treatment facilities

Manage water/wastewater projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships

Provide senior review and professional authentication of memos, reports, drawings, and other engineering documents

Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final process designs of wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, equalization tanks, outfalls

Lead studies and Class EAs for water and wastewater projects

Prepare proposals and reports

Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, utility companies, and contractors
