Senior Estimator – Urbacon

Role Objectives

As a senior estimator, you will be responsible for calculating major construction cost estimates, and you will be involved in the planning, development, negotiation, and contract execution of a project.

Responsibilities

• Review of bid documents identifying special requirements and assisting the department in mitigation of risks.
• Review plans and specifications in detail.
• Interpret specific requirements of any bid submission.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings, develop bid strategies and take ownership of the budget / tender process.
• Take‑offs, schedule/price estimates and prepare preliminary schedules, general requirements for review.
• Prepare budgets, cost proposals and value engineering to suit different project delivery methods.
• Coordinate with subtrades and industry professionals.
