**Rainforest Foundation Norway is the leading rainforest NGO in Europe and one of the largest in the world. We are renowned for our advocacy for increased and improved funding for rainforest protection and indigenous rights, targeting climate and biodiversity funding, REDD+ and other financial incentives. Now we are looking for a skilled and committed international forest finance advisor for a temporary position, to contribute to this work in a crucial time for tropical rainforests.**
This role will have a special responsibility for RFNs advocacy work to to further develop and promote fit-for-purpose funding to Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IP and LCs), through an inclusive process involving relevant stakeholders.
You will be based in our policy team, working with a team of eight dedicated policy advisers, and collaborate with colleagues and partner organisations working to protect the rainforest across the Amazon, Congo Basin and Southeast Asia.
