Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid) About this opportunity As a member of a dynamic development team, the Senior HW designer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, architecture, design, testing and delivery to manufacturing of carrier‑grade hardware used for optical line systems capable of 400Gbps and beyond and broadband fiber access systems with PON rates of up to 50Gbps.

What You’ll Do

Lead HW development projects and advise and mentor other HW team members

Own all aspects of circuit pack development schedule, prototype delivery, product testing and product certification

Work with product line management and other managers to interpret and negotiate product features and specifications

Lead and interface with contract resources outside of your organization

Define technical specifications to support design concepts, and participate in specification peer reviews
