The Senior Manager, Engineering is responsible for providing reliable and safe engineering track infrastructure to maximize network availability and train velocity to support operations. The incumbent delivers improved efficiency in the designated region.

Main Responsibilities

Staff Management

• Lead Managers, Track Supervisors, Assistant Track Supervisors and hourly Maintenance of Way (MOW) employees across the territory, managing performance, encouraging development, and creating strategies to retain talent
• Provide clear direction and communication on employee performance and department goals
• Lead succession and talent management initiatives
• Coach and counsel subordinates who are not performing at established goals and standards
