Senior Constructive Designer (Permanent)

Victoria, BC or Ottawa, ON or Halifax, NS. Expected Salary: $80,458 to $98,337.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions with a structural focus for the integration of new sub-systems / components into existing systems.
• Support the production of technical drawings and specifications to support the implementation of Engineering Changes on board Victoria Class Submarines and other Naval/Marine platforms.
• Conduct independent technical studies and assessments of marine structural elements and analyze recommended changes to existing structures to assess the design impact of proposed changes.
• Check design and drawing outputs from more junior designers, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
