Job Description
Position Summary
The Health and Safety Specialist leads and supports associates across all departments in the investigation, prevention, and continuous reduction of workplace injuries. This role takes a proactive and dataβdriven approach to managing safety risks, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture. The position requires comprehensive analysis and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), injury data, and WSIB claim costs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Investigate health and safety incidents, prepare detailed reports, and lead the identification and implementation of effective corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and complete data collection for incidents, KPIs, modified work conditions, and trends.
- Analyze and report on KPIs weekly and monthly, providing actionable insights to leadership.
