Role description
Senior Roadway Designerwith advanced roadway and geometric design experience in municipal roadway, MTO highway, and transit projects within the Greater Toronto Area. This role is part of Arcadis’ Mobility Global Business Area, collaborating with clients worldwide to design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods.Role accountabilitiesUrban and rural roadway alignments (horizontal/vertical), cross sections, and corridor layouts.Intersection and roundabout conceptual and detailed design, including sight distance, channelization, auxiliary lanes, and access management.Active transportation integration (cycling and pedestrian facilities) within new and retrofit corridors.Lead and/or assist with analysis and design efforts in geometric roadway design and related transportation engineering from feasibility through IFC, review and supervise the work of junior team members, an...
