PROGRAM: Senior’s Coordinator
WORK HOURS: 3 hours/week (until March 29th, 2027)

RATE OF PAY: $28.00/hr Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre is an accredited, non-profit organization providing support services to residents of Mississauga including newcomers to Canada, youth, seniors, and families. JOB SUMMARY:
The “Tight-Knit” senior group facilitators will organize and facilitate weekly in-person sessions for older adults where participants can interact, share knitting and crocheting skills, offer peer support, and socialize in a relaxed and welcoming environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Network with the community and the Senior’s Coordinator to recruit participants.

Assist with publicity, promotion, and community outreach related to the project.
