Social Worker

This position is for our Vulcan Home, located in Vulcan, Alberta.

What you’ll be doing

• Provides counseling for residents and families.
• Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, etc. for both residents and department in accordance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
• Participate in committees related to resident care and operation of the Home as required.
• Establishes and maintains communications with other disciplines, residents, and families, to ensure resident needs are met.
• Liaises with government officials, Extendicare consultants, and other professionals in relation to resident care needs and department activities.

What you bring

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited University.
• Current registration with Alberta College of Social workers (including Professional liability insurance)
