The Architect role in Solution Architecture involves gathering insights about client business and technical requirements to propose viable solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The role includes acting as a customer advocate, leveraging existing architecture approaches, and applying technical knowledge to meet clients' needs and resolve technical constraints. Architects assess and build clients' technical capabilities, lead technical activities for building solutions, and support pre-sales, post-sales, and implementation for client projects. They contribute to the design, build, and deployment of proof of concepts (POCs) and pilots, applying methodology and governance to minimize risks and manage quality assurance.
