Job Description

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for categories such as castings, forgings, fabricated components, hydraulics, gearboxes, and motors
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans at the product level taking category strategies into account
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities within assigned categories and products, and drive prioritized savings initiatives
  • Conduct spend analysis, benchmarking, should-cost modeling, and supplier consolidation to identify and realize cost-reduction opportunities
  • Source, evaluate, qualify, and onboard global suppliers based on cost, quality, risk, and performance criteria
  • Define and maintain strategic supplier segmentation using category, product, and risk analysis to identify critical suppliers, single-source exposure, and risk-critical components
