Job Description

Motorola Solutions’ Fixed Video hardware team is seeking an experienced Senior Optical Designer to join our optics group. You’ll have the opportunity to steer the end-to-end product design and ensure high quality of our broad portfolio of next generation cameras.

Responsibilities

• Lense Design: drive lens selection or custom design through third‑party suppliers
• Camera Validation: simulation, optimization and evaluation of lens modules, prototypes, and full production camera assembly
• Cross‑functional Collaboration: work closely with mechanical, electrical and firmware teams on integration of the lens / sensor modules onto our camera platforms
• Transfer to Production: develop alignment standards, test jigs and automation routines for factory assembly
