Embark on your career as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice with SaskPower Aspen. This position offers hands-on training in pipe installation and system testing, with a rotational schedule.
As a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice, you will work with Graham and Woodland Constructors Ltd. This role involves using power tools to cut, thread, and weld pipes, and includes responsibilities for system testing and maintenance. You will also gain HDPE Fusion and Vic Roll Grooving experience while being required to pass safety certifications such as CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut openings in various surfaces for piping
• Measure, cut, and bend pipe with precision
• Weld and join pipes to fabricate systems
• Test piping systems for leaks thoroughly
• Maintain and clean pipe units for optimal function
Requirements:
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
