PTW is seeking a Structural Steel Fitter for day shift roles in Calgary, AB. This position focuses on fabrication, maintenance, and installation in both commercial and industrial projects.
As a Structural Steel Fitter with PTW, you'll bring your expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and planning material selections. You'll operate metalworking equipment to prepare and fit heavy metal components, ensuring precise assembly and installation in a safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret engineering drawings and select materials efficiently
• Prepare and detail heavy metal components per specifications
• Set up and operate torches, grinders, and drills
• Fit and assemble fabricated components accurately
• Safely rig and move materials within organized work areas
Requirements:
• 1+ years of commercial/industrial fitting experience
• Completion of welding courses is a plus
