Job Description

Duties:

  • Assist with camp tasks including registrations, attendance tracking, supplies and equipment, communication with parents, and other support work.

  • Supervise and schedule instructors, and help plan and assist with staff training with the support of the Mini University Program Coordinator.

  • Act as a substitute instructor if another instructor is absent or unavailable.

  • Help to address camper behaviour issues.

  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.

  • Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills and self-motivated.

  • Ability to relate to children and youth, including those from diverse populations.
