Job Description
Join the dynamic surgical team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This role focuses on patient advocacy, assessment, and teamwork.
You will be responsible for the primary care of surgical patients, actively engaging in their preoperative and postoperative needs. Leveraging your assessment and intervention skills, you will provide education and support in accordance with the Philosophy of Patient-Focused Care. Strong collaboration with other healthcare professionals is vital to achieving optimal surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage primary care for patients in the Operating Room
• Conduct patient assessments and implement interventions
• Advocate for and educate patients about their care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Requirements:
• Hold current Ontario Registration with College of Nurses
