Job Description

The Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) engineer ensures supplier quality and performance for all commodities as needed. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive self-management, and effective leadership skills to influence and guide suppliers and cross-functional teams. The ASQ engineer must align all activities with corporate objectives for quality, cost, and delivery, while fostering collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities and duties

• Actively participate in narrowing down potential new suppliers during the direct material sourcing process.
• Conduct on-site audits of supplier Quality Management Systems to verify compliance with ISO-9001 standards and corporate requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, coordinate corrective actions, and validate implementation to ensure issues are resolved.
