Scope of the Position

Responsible for efficient inventory planning (and related processes), to ensure availability of goods as a key competitive advantage, and to achieve operational targets. Responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assortment.

Major Responsibilities

• Analyzing and maintaining product assortment, inventory, and safety stock levels, forecast accuracy, transfer frequency, and lead times.
• Review, assess, and report on supply and demand variability, and identify opportunities to manage and mitigate risk.
• Update parameters (or be responsible for parameter updates) for product and kit setup.
• Take preventive measures to avoid stock outs and missed sales.
• Perform alternate product source analysis.
• Review various reports for exceptional usage, expiring thresholds, lead times, and frozen reasons.
