Job Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care in the OR and other perioperative services for all patient populations. Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with scope of practice credentials, privileges, experience, education, and competency verification. This position requires providing service to one or more age populations, including ill neonates through geriatric patients, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. The employee must fully understand and actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization, demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values, and support the Organization’s strategic plan and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
