Position: Systems Engineer, Sr

Location: Toronto, ONT (Hybrid)

Hours of Operation: 9:00am – 6:00pm EST

Pay Range: $40.87 – $52.88 CAD hourly

Position Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer is a subject‑matter expert across VFX technologies, responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting Linux, Windows, and macOS infrastructure that underpins core business activities. The engineer leads initiatives to deploy, maintain, and improve systems, mentors junior staff, and partners with IT, support, and engineering teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

Main Duties

The Senior Systems Engineer will architect, deploy, and maintain desktop and server infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and managing Linux and Windows desktop and server environments, as well as macOS desktop environments.
