30% – Canadian Income Tax Compliance & Audits

Lead Canadian federal and provincial income tax compliance, managing externally prepared annual income tax returns and supporting documentation to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with financial reporting requirements. Prepare and review book‑to‑tax difference workpapers, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness. Oversee monthly estimated income tax instalments and required February payments, ensuring compliance with Canadian requirements. Prepare and post true‑up and tax return journal entries. Analyze and reconcile income tax accrual and payable accounts, maintaining alignment between tax provision, compliance, and statutory reporting.
