Responsibilities

The classroom teacher will create a learning environment that implements the district articulated curriculum for their content area. The teacher will provide positive learning experiences for all students, establishing good relationships with students, parents, and staff. Responsibilities include documenting student progress, setting appropriate learning goals, developing lesson plans and activities, addressing specific educational needs, communicating feedback to parents and administration, using assessment results to guide differentiated instruction, collaborating with staff, attending department meetings, participating in extracurricular activities, and maintaining professional competence through in‑service education and professional growth activities.
