About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Community Based Laboratory Manager and working collaboratively with the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine management team and medical staff the Laboratory Technical Supervisor is responsible for the efficient, timely, cost-effective quality driven operation of the laboratory services at the Hants Community Hospital and Cobequid Community Health Centre in Central Zone. The Technical Supervisor supervises operations at both locations, rotating between locations to ensure an onsite presence. Areas of responsibility includes the core laboratory, blood collection services, and Point of Care Testing. The supervisor works closely with the leadership team and staff to implement policies and procedures in congruence with the overall corporate plan as it relates to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
