Position Summary The accounting technician will participate in all aspects of the accounting cycle. From bookkeeping to data entry, month end closing, GL and ledger reconciliations and all other related tasks

Reporting to: Controller

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 37.5 hours/week

Language Skills Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. Professional proficiency in French (written and spoken) is additionally required only for roles located in Eastern Canada. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in business and technical contexts.

Payables cycle: Receive and process a large number of invoices. Reconcile balance with vendors, issue checks, issue credit and debit notes.

Process checks runs, EFT payments.

Enter customer deposits and reconcile customer balances.

Actively contribute to AR collections, follow-ups, etc
