Position Overview

Reporting to the Technology Support Supervisor, the Technology Specialist Co-op will provide expertise and ongoing technical support to assist the support team and customers on the use and operation of Caterpillar® Mining and Construction software and hardware technologies. As a Technology Specialist Co-op you will be advising other technical experts and have a key role in making decisions and providing support, both for office and onboard systems. The successful candidate will provide troubleshooting of the software and hardware for Cat® Technologies including Fleet, Terrain, Site Aware, DSS, and Trimble Heavy Civil technologies that are currently used at the customers mining and construction operations. This role will be primarily based out of our Head Office branch in Edmonton, Alberta on a hybrid work schedule with occasional dispatches to sites across Western Canada (Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories).
