Position Overview

Reporting to the Technology Support Supervisor, the Technology Specialist Co-op will provide expertise and ongoing technical support to assist the support team and customers on the use and operation of Caterpillar Mining and Construction software and hardware technologies. You will advise other technical experts and play a key role in making decisions and providing support, both for office and onboard systems.

Using a combination of expertise and coordination with Finning and Caterpillar, the successful candidate will troubleshoot software and hardware for Cat Technologies including Fleet, Terrain, Site Aware, DSS, and Trimble Heavy Civil technologies that are used at customers’ mining and construction operations. This role is primarily based out of our Head Office branch in Edmonton, Alberta on a hybrid work schedule with occasional dispatch to sites across Western Canada.
