Trade Compliance Analyst, Staff

Location: Canada, Ottawa (Hybrid)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (Ontario). Salary range is a general guideline; final offer based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand control lists and categorize products from different perspectives. (25%)
• Assist with the evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments, and maintenance of documentation related to regulatory compliance and recommend appropriate changes. (25%)
• Coordinate the preparation of and may prepare document packages for regulatory submissions from all areas of the company as well as for internal and external audits and inspections. (25%)
• Serve as point of contact for interactions with businesses and function on specific export control processes such as shipping requests, technology exports, or restricted party screening. (25%)
