Responsibilities

• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain professionalism in customer service.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Handle heavy loads up to 23kg (50lbs).
• Work variable shifts: early morning, evening, night, flexible hours, day, weekend, overtime as required.
