The Opportunity

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for an Underground Mine Trainer at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. Working a FIFO rotation of 14 shifts on and 14 shifts off.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Underground Mine Trainer is responsible for ensuring all mining personnel, whether newcomers or seasoned veterans, are primed to excel in their roles. By providing continuous ‘in field’ training and support to all mine site employees and focusing on the correct operation of equipment and the execution of tasks, UG Trainers empower every worker to operate efficiently and productively, without compromising on safety or equipment integrity, ensuring everyone returns home safely after each shift.

This role is responsible for imparting hard skills and intangibles, ensuring each employee is as ‘mine‑ready’ as possible, ensuring workers are confident, efficient, and, above all, safe.
