Job Description
Become a pivotal part of the University as a Network Operator, supporting a vast institutional network. Engage in data communication troubleshooting and network monitoring across multiple campuses.
This position is critical to managing a network of 15,000 workstations and 100 servers, ensuring operational efficiency for a community of 25,000. You will handle requests, monitor security, and configure equipment while collaborating in a 24/7 team environment. Your detail-oriented and analytical skills will be key to resolving complex networking issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and prioritize network requests and trouble tickets
• Monitor Data Centre operations and network security
• Conduct network tests and troubleshoot first-level problems
• Configure switch ports and modify network settings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Data Centres
