Ventilators!! We use ventilators on all our procedures which allows us to have very predictable and smooth anesthesia. Our RVT’s take the lead with all procedures, sedations and anesthesia. They work closely with the doctors and patients to generate protocols that best match the patient’s needs, ensuring our RVT’s always use their skills to the fullest.
Program Overview
NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Participants work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more. The practicum lasts two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals.
