About Our Facility

We have a large, beautiful facility that is tailored for small animals, pocket pets, and all exotics. You can expect a fantastic, welcoming staff, and the chance to work with some very unique animals. We're one of the only clinics in the greater Edmonton area that treats exotics, so we see a lot of animals outside of your typical dog and cat!

VT Practicum Program

NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more. Enhance your communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing you for a successful career as an RVT. Practicums range from two to eight weeks, fitting your schedule and career goals.
