Société Générale Canada’s Compliance Department has a broad compliance mandate. This mandate encompasses AML, sanctions, surveillance, regulatory reporting, advisory, registrations, technical reviews, testing and monitoring, regulatory watch, project management, connectivity and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform compliance reviews on various processes such as personal transactions, outside business activities, conflicts of interest, regulatory registration, etc. The frequency of such reviews can be daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
• Contribute to the preparation of compliance routine reports.
• Prepare monthly compliance metrics by sourcing data from key business partners.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline metrics reporting. Assist other reporting needs.
