About the Opportunity

The Galaxy Program is Direction Youth Services 2SLGBTQIA+ Program. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who support the Program Coordinator in running events, outings, and workshops for queer and trans youth.

Volunteers are seen as queer/trans role models to youth.

Responsibilities

• Help with the set up and take down of events and workshops at Directions.
• Support with organizing clothing donation room.
• Dedicate their time, skills, and efforts to assist with various community programs and activities.
• Support clients while making a positive impact in the community and support the organization in its mission, values, and commitment to compassion.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate work/life balance.
